The Grand-Massif ski area includes the resorts of Flaine, Les Carroz, Samoens, Morillon and Sixt. With it's 265 Km
network of pistes it offers skiing for all abilities. From the challenge of the renown Diamond Noir and Combe de Gers
runs of Flaine to the beautifull and scenic Marvel run at Morillon. The latter, at 5km in length, being one of the longest
green runs in Europe.
Even longer is the 14km Cascades blue run from the Grand Platieres at Flaine, to Sixt, from where a regular shuttle bus
will take you back to Samoens. From the Grand Platieres with it's magnificent views of Mont Blanc the route takes you through
areas of forest and high mountain pastures with the option of visiting the restaurant at Lac de Gers where you can lunch in
picturesque surroundings.

The Grand-Massif is easily accessible from the Giffre valley, with gondola uplifts from Morillon and Samoens. The
Grand-Massif Express from Samoens, opened in 2003, provides rapid access to the Samoens 1600 Ski area from where links
give easy acces to all of the Grand-Massif.
All of the resorts provide good debutant areas and Morillon in particular is an excellent family resort.
With it's huge selection of runs and jam parks, many excellent restaurants and easy access, the Grand-Massif provides
for a perfect skiing holiday.
